5 Generations

So how blessed am I to have 5 generations of Koping girls living with me(ok, a couple of the girls live with Julia in Lethbridge but I have the youngest and oldest of the 5 generations in my house).I know some Toy/'small' dog breeders that wouldn't find 5 generations to be a big challenge to have living at the same time BUT in the 'large' dog world, I think this is a wonderful feat to have accomplished. A year and a half ago Sarah Novak took some wonderful 4 generation pictureof the 'girls' (Taylor, Paige, Mckeely and Tea) and one of those pictures is the top banner of this blog.Well Julia and I have been talking about having to find a time and place to get a picture of P!nk with the 'girls'. Taylor told me she has wanted to wait for the photo opp to be when the weather is nice, so I guess now with the temps getting nice outside I can start trying to find time to get one. However, until that happens I thought I would present to you my current "5 Generation" picture of the 'girls'.....lucky for me I had cousin Lori visiting with her camera recently and so I quickly 'set' the girls up and got her to snap a quick picture --- because you never know how long they will stay put!!! LOL

So happy to report that on Saturday Willow also got her Championship going Winners Bitch, while Sydney took Best of Breed.
It was great weekend for both Koping girls. Congrats to all.

New Champion

The dog show weekend has begun and we are very happy to report that Sydney today won Best of Breed, and Willow took Reserve. This makes Sydney the newest Koping Champion huge congrats to Pat,Christy and Sydney.
Watch for more updates as the weekend goes on and hopefully there will be another Koping Championship to celebrate.

Another Koping Visitor

Willow (Emma x Diesel) is also visiting at grandma-Pat's now. She started her weeks visit in Calgary with hanging out with Roy and her momma-Emma. Willow will be attending the CKOC dog shows this weekend with her half sister Sydney. Wish us all luck!!

Koping Visitor in Calgary

Sydney -- Koping's Alias Wan2 Be (Emma x Jackson) -- owned by Christy Spratlin & Patricia Kopec and lives with her 'grey sister', Aidie and mom Christy in Edmonton.
As you can see from Sydney's smiling face in the photos, she is VERY happy to be on 'vacation' at Grandma-Pat's house and going for runs with her relatives (Taylor, Paige and Mackenzie). Sydney is in Calgary this week as she will be attending the CKOC dog show this weekend at the Big Four Building at Stampede Park. Good Luck

More Koping Kids

Here's Lira (Ch Koping's Dollar and Sense RN) and Nova (Ch Koping's Bossa Nova AGX, AGXJ, RN) and their bro, Daymond who live in Calgary with their parents Leslie & Chris.
When Leslie introduced the Jolly Jumper to Daymond she found that the dogs (especially Nova) were attracted to laying under it while Daymond jumped in it. Lately it is hard to get pictures of the 'kids', as Daymond is now a walking 3yr old and thus hard to keep him and the dogs 'still enough' to get photos of all three together!
