A Tribute to Morgan

CH Koping’s Tale of Captain Morgan

August 22, 1999 – May 25, 2013

The day was August 22, 1999, the very start of the Koping Clan.  Taylor’s first litter – 4 boys and 1 girl.  In October 1999, we were hoping to add a new little girl to our family, but the only girl in Taylor’s first litter was already spoken for.  After a lot of discussion back and forth with Pat, we decided to take a Weim boy.  That was the start of a wonderful adventure with Captain Morgan.

Morgan was always an independent, proud and handsome boy.  He ruled his pack (Jacob, Hayley and Keltie) with just a look.  Morgan enjoyed the show ring and earned his Canadian Championship in 2001.  His greatest loves were his Teddy and going for walks.  He also had a soft spot for Great Danes.

This wonderful boy lit up our lives for 13 years and nine months.  It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to our Morgan.  He has left a huge void in our lives and is dearly missed by John, Pat, Hayley and Keltie.
