Lulu (2) - Sydney x Jimmy Choo pup comes to visit Kamp Koping!

Not only has she gotten to play and mingle with her grey family members but she also has gotten to hang with a couple Dalmatians and a Bearded Collie!

Houston rocks the ring!!!

At just 3 months of age, Houston (Sydney x Jimmy Choo) entered the baby puppy class at the EKKOC show two weeks ago.  As you can see, he is a 'lil big dog' -- nice bold confident and happy go-lucky temperament!!  Watch for Houston and some fellow Koping Weimaraners at the Alberta Kennel Club show over the long weekend.

Happy Bday 'honorary' Weim GG!!

GG turns 4 on Sunday, she will be spending her weekend running with the Weimaraners and heading to the lake for a swim with them too.

Kamp Koping has a new visitor

Noire is visiting from Saskatchewan to learn some Rally obedience moves.  As you can see from the pictures she is Jimmy Choo's personal play toy (or maybe vice versa!)   The Koping girls like her as she smells like very nice hair product ;-)
Noire is a Bearded Collie and has a very 'Tigger-like' personality.  

Mackenzie-girl is VERY well loved by the Champ family

And especially adored by her 'sister' Britney as you see in the pictures.  Mackenzie is from the Scout x Aleck litter and they will be turning 10 this coming September.

Mackenzie and the rest of the Champ family have also welcomed a new addition -- Jimi (Jazz x True) puppy.

Another fabulous weekend for True

Am Ch MBIS, BISS, BPIS Can Ch Koping Win'Weim Say It's True (Sydney x Goose)!!!

True showed on Friday and Saturday at the EKKOC show and came home with a Group 1st and Group 2 (thank you judges Rosemary Kemp & Jim Reynolds!). We are all so very pleased with True being recognized in a very strong Sporting group. Below is a candid picture taken while in the Sporting group ring.

Dear Grandma Pat, sorry I haven't written but I've been extremely busy at Camp Chung.

 Every weekday when the kids go for swimming lessons I do a 45min  romp through the forest in Pacific Spirit Regional  Park.  After I get a 2hr nap before the kids head to  gymnastics.  That's my favourite time because now I get to go swimming at  McDonald Beach in Richmond. It's been hovering around  25ºC
 the last two weeks and I don't like the heat. I LIVE  to  retrieve and can swim for an hour straight but my Dad keeps  making me take breaks which is so annoying. He's also  keeping an eye out as seals have been found on the Fraser River. On the weekends rain or shine we go hiking,  biking  or swimming again, did I mention I live to retrieve anything  you  throw in the water?

 I'm still 27" tall and hover between 85-90lbs. I still  can  sleep 18hrs a day and only get up for meals but when I'm  outside  I only have one speed - full on!

 Give Taylor a kiss and happy belated birthday from me.

 Dad said we might come visit you this summer but he's got to  teach > me how to sit in a canoe before we head to the Bow River.

Introducing "Ellie" -- Koping WinWeim Glass Slipper (Sydney x Jimmy Choo)

Ellie was formerly called 'Scandal' but now has moved to Dallas to live with Sarah and Dan Goldstein and her new four legged lab brother  - Solomon.  As you can see from the pictures she is comfortable with her new living arrangements ;-)

Koping weims play agility in HOT Lethbridge!!!!

Since we haven't really had 'summer yet' in Alberta, the dogs have not been conditioned to playing agility in +30 temperatures, yet they did a great job at giving effort most of the weekend

......and that effort produced Q's for all

the Koping kids that played  Mckeely, Tea, P!nk, Jimmy Choo and True.  

The Lethbridge Kennel Club did a fantastic job at hosting the CKC agility trial weekend and we are thankful for all the wonderful volunteers that worked so hard.  As well, Wendy Devant was there taking photos, so think I'll be having to purchase some pictures to share with the blog :-) later.

 True's debut weekend in a couple events resulted in a couple Q's.  He loved showing everyone that he is not just a pretty face!

Jimmy Choo earned his AGN title and celebrated when he got home by rolling all around and being his typical goofy self!

Happy Belated 8th Birthday to the Flames litter (Paige x Froggy)!!!

On June 28th, Ember, Dieter, Jersey, Nickel, Strider and Sutter celebrated their 8th birthday but since we were out of town I wasn't able to post on the blog.....sorry

What a FABULOUS Koping weekend in Portage la Prairie!!!!

True and El showed at the Portage Kennel Club all breed shows as well as the WAC Regional Specialty this past weekend and Stiletto showed at just the Specialty.  Sooooo proud of all three of them for being great Koping Weimaraner amabassadors.
El won Winner's Bitch for 3 points as well as Best Canadian Bred Puppy at the WAC Regional Specialty Show.  She was RWB & Best Puppy in Breed 2 of the 3 all breed shows.  El is Koping Element of Surprise and just 7.5 months old.
15 month old Stiletto showed as a Special in the Regional Show and won the 12-18 month class in Puppy Sweeps as well as made the final cut for bitches in the Specialty ring.
