A Tribute to Morgan

CH Koping’s Tale of Captain Morgan

August 22, 1999 – May 25, 2013

The day was August 22, 1999, the very start of the Koping Clan.  Taylor’s first litter – 4 boys and 1 girl.  In October 1999, we were hoping to add a new little girl to our family, but the only girl in Taylor’s first litter was already spoken for.  After a lot of discussion back and forth with Pat, we decided to take a Weim boy.  That was the start of a wonderful adventure with Captain Morgan.

Morgan was always an independent, proud and handsome boy.  He ruled his pack (Jacob, Hayley and Keltie) with just a look.  Morgan enjoyed the show ring and earned his Canadian Championship in 2001.  His greatest loves were his Teddy and going for walks.  He also had a soft spot for Great Danes.

This wonderful boy lit up our lives for 13 years and nine months.  It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to our Morgan.  He has left a huge void in our lives and is dearly missed by John, Pat, Hayley and Keltie.

Happy Birthday to Tea, who 'single-handily' created her own party 6 years ago!

Three of the P!nk x True kids have 'official' names now and new homes.......so let's introduce.....

      "Nola" -- Koping Pink Magnolia (owned & loved by Lori in Victoria& Messina )

 "Dottie" -- Koping Shocking Pink Polka Dot (owned & loved by Pam & Ken in Okotoks)

           

      

"Sussi" -- Koping Pink Sweetheart (owned & loved by Kelly & Joe in Calgary)

Miss Lavender (pictured below at 7.5wks)  is a lovely outgoing puppy with a 'want to learn and willing to please' attitude.

OHHHH Jimmy Choo

Everyone LOVES Jimmy Choo (and he LOVES puppies)!!!

Wow how does the time fly??! -- Puppies are 7 weeks old!!

Not only did they get to meet and play with Cavaliers (& a Picard), they got to stack up and show how pretty they are :-)

True and Pat attended the WEIMARANER CLUB OF AMERICA National Specialty show (& all breed/speciality shows held in conjunction) in Perry, Georgia in April and came back with some LOVELY ribbons -- Award of Merit & agility and rally Q's!!

Liz Saunders (Blazingstar) has been busy developing some fabulous ad pages for the upcoming WCA Blue Ribbon magazine and this is one that didn't make the 'cut' but is too nice not to share and showcase fabulous True!
